One Big Night

The brief:

Mercedes-Benz planned a major event at the O2 arena for all of their UK staff to celebrate a record year for the company. They required a large amount of content to use at the show including animations, films and the creation of a brand identity that could be used for all print and publishing needs.

Our challenge:

The brand identity had to encompass the location of the celebration and the fantastic sales figures the company achieved without feeling too corporate. It would need to work for all invitations, menus, emails and posters as well as tie in to an animated countdown clock. To create something that wouldn’t be too corporate but still feel inspirational and celebratory while conforming to certain CI guidelines was the real challenge.

Our solution:

Our designers worked closely with the events team to understand how far we could push the envelope on the design and through brainstorming a number of ideas with the team our designers were able to produce a brand identity that perfectly captured the location, the excitement of the night but still with a strong focus on their sales results.
