Autonomous Tractor Concept
The brief:
INP Media were commissioned to produce a film to promote the brand new autonomous concept tractor created by Case IH.
The Case IH Magnum concept was a first of its kind with no cab and a completely autonomous operation. A film highlighting the tractors unique attributes was required for the official launch of the tractor at Farm Progress in Illinois the largest agricultural show in the USA.
Our challenge:
We had a very tight deadline for the completion of the film. Filming in extreme heat up to 40 °C in Kentucky USA with an untested concept we had to capture all content and complete the edit in time for the unveiling at Farm progress.
Filming with a robotic and autonomous tractor had its own very unique challenges and we had to be prepared for all eventualities, none the less we were confident we could create something great
Our solution:
Preparation was key. Using multiple cameras, including in tractor and drone plus a talented multi tasking crew we were able to capture stunning content of the tractors abilities. Also uploading content every evening so our team of talented in house editors could be working on the project while we were still filming meant we were able to hit the deadline with time to spare.
