S-Way Live Launch Event

The brief:

Due to Covid-19, Iveco the Italian van and truck manufacturer were unable to launch their very latest truck model the Iveco S Way at international trade shows. Therefore, they needed to launch the truck to a global audience and required INP Media to produce and provide a live launch platform that would stream the event to journalists, customers and dealers around the world allowing interaction with the presenters and product specilaists.

Our challenge:

We needed to produce a programme that would be informative, professional and dynamic. The programme needed to be interactive allowing customers to ask the presenters questions about the truck while still allowing the programme to deliver all of the key information. As customers couldn’t be there, the biggest challenge was making the programme feel like a virtual test drive allowing the audience to feel as if they had experienced the truck for real.

Our solution:

We decided to create a hybrid programme which allowed us to pre-record certain elements of the programme such as product specialists and customers driving the vehicle, designers walking us through designs, drawings and decision making and combining this with live audience participation and live interviews with product specialists.

The combination of both live interaction with pre-recorded footage showing the truck in action on the road gave the audience the closest thing to be being able to drive the truck themselves.
