360° Driving Experiences
The brief:
Mercedes-Benz World wanted to create a 360° VR experience to immerse people into what one of their track driving experiences would feel like.
Our challenge:
By manufacturing our own camera clamp we were able to create a very stable camera platform for the exterior 360° rig. We also use bespoke stitching masks for all of our 360° work as an off the shelf algorithm can only do so much. This allowed us to get the best possible results from a demanding environment.
Using our in-house app developers and VR technicians we were able to create multiple formats for the 360° film, allowing it to be used on multiple sites and applications. Including VR headsets and stand alone gesture controlled screens.
